I don't know Susan, I think when we are with our horses, it brings out an honesty in us that we unconsciously bring to the table. I bet you are more consistant than you realize. A question like the one you raised, addresses an issue that I think each of us struggles with because we want to become better horsemen AND we want to be as fair as possible to our horses. However, my easiest rides with Gusti have been when I relaxed and didn't overthink things... Wanda
