Yes, they like their groceries don't they?? I can find ribs on Elska and Kria (the two mares who hardly move around in this weather)....however, on the boys, who are wrestling and playing and running 24/7 - I can't find even a hint of a rib. Everyone looks good this winter though, no 'hay belly's' yet, and they look like they are in good shape. It's taken me a long time to train my eye to know when it's time to cut back on the hay. It's hard though here....in our climate I tend to pile on the hay. Wanda
