All of my horses start shedding in February and start growing their winter coats in August. I thought it had to do with the length of the days. Tivar is right on his usual schedule but I don't know how the length of the days compare in CA and FL. We just got back from nearly a month in East Africa, it was wonderful. Mandy Pretty has had three of my horses in school and Ferne and I will be going to Modesto to pick one or two up this week. I cannot wait to see their progress. Ann
