I have a non-icelandic horse that is palomino. In the summer she has a medium gold color. But in the winter she grows in white hair so she looks like a palomino roan. But even if I feed the stuff to enhance color to keep her from fading out in the summer she still does not get real dark. So she is much lighter in the winter, medium in the summer. Sherrel
