Janice - I think all of your answers are good - what I normally respond to this one is "on the ground, they are mostly quiet and very easy to handle. Under saddle they can run the gamut from slow and laid back to fast and reactive - just like any horse, you need to shop carefully - don't be fooled by their quiet demeanor on the ground - it doesn't always correspond to what you get under saddle" Laree
