where do you get the book? I want to go to iceland too but I have
come to really believe in my heart that for whatever reason I annoy
the heck outa foriegners. they dont seem to get it when I make jokes,
and they just swarm out like a buncha fire ants when I ask a simple
question. People say in iceland "it costs 14 bucks for a hamburger
and fries!" which doesnt bother me since where I work here on the
redneck riviera it costs 14 bucks and you dont get fries. a cup of
coffee at starbucks is 4.25. even the cheapest meal is 8 bucks for
lunch almost anywhere. But here along the "scenic corridor" on the
gulf of mexico they passed an ordinance where no drive up windows are
allowed... which resulted in NO fast food restaurants. Which means
everything cost an arm and a leg. For lunch you have to go eat a
"Nicoise Salad" with fresh grilled tuna steak, capers, anchovies and
lemon roasted red potatoes for 18 bucks. So I eat soup at work. All
the people I work with have to drive an hour cause no working people
can afford to live here! a house here just sold for 12 million. How
much did michael jacksons neverland sell for??!? Forgive me, I rant.
But anyway. Iceland cant be THAT expensive... Cheryl Crowe has a
house here! I have never seen her, but if i run into her I will tell
her how much I enjoyed reading about her in The Gaited Horse.
