Q. Where does a person look for icelandics for sale? <<<< You can start by looking right here on the list. But for people who aren't already on the list, they might ask around. It's always good to check on the reputation of someone who is referred to you. And then double check that reference outside of the peer group. There are people who I would never recommend to buy a horse from... some from personal experience, and some from their behavior or ethics (or lack thereof) on the lists... some because of their lack of knowledge of horsemanship and training... some from their lack of respect and love for the horse (in other words, those who view the horse as a commodity, a money-maker).
