Personally I love the Icelandic names, I think they give us a sense of 
their history and mythology.  However, they sometimes ARE hard to 
pronounce...When I brought home our Icelandic gelding named 'Hrappur', 
my husband pronounced 'sounds like crapper!' and that was the end of 
that name.  I let my 4-year-old name him, so now we have Theodore 
(Teddy).  Up here in Alaska in the winter he DOES look like a teddy 
bear, so who's to say it's not the right name?
