oh man lorraine, thats too bad!!  My Gallant Boy was shaking like a
leaf too when the farrier came, but he is a horse terrified of drawing
human wrath down upon him I think...

My Nasi was bad for the farrier this time.  My husband took him for a
walk day before yesterday and said at the end he gave him treats, took
him to the cross tie where the farrier worked on him and just stroked
his legs and picked up his feet and everytime he was good for even a
half second he would praise and hug on him and give him a little piece
of a treat.  he said at the end he was allowing all for feet to be
picked up happily...  Scooter may have had a real bad experience...
