It just seems that the gap is extra wide on this saddle...maybe due to 
the heaviness of the EZ Ride stirrup?  I'm not sure either.   Even 
though most of the leather will be against my leg, there is still that 
bit between the hard use buckle and where you thread the leather through 
the stirrup.   Looking forward to seeing your pics as I may have it 
rigged up wrong.
