may be a silly question, but -- why a bareback pad? i just ride stjarni bareback, and my impression was the typical icelandic build and gaits make for a pretty plushy ride. (stjarni's does, anyway :) yes, i end up covered in pony fur, but that happened when i was grooming anyway :)
