Hi Karen, What is a vosal? Is that another word for bosal, or a misspelling of bosal? Or is it something different?
A Vosal has a short leather covered nosepiece and then two metal hinged pieces attach to the nosepiece and join under the chin. It has a similar function to a bosal and the rein attaches in the same place as a bosal but the metal joints are actually quite flexible because of the hinge effects. I think I still have one in my tack room so I will try and take a photo tomorrow. Robyn Icelandic Horse Farm Robyn Hood & Phil Pretty Vernon BC Canada
