I have one of those bits and my "spooky" horse loves it. She does so much better in that bit than any other bit I have ever used on her. You use to sets of reins on it, so you can use the snaffle set which has to be gentler that a broken mouth snaffle which pokes them in the roof of the mouth. It has a copper roller in the middle of the port and she plays with that which makes a noise. I have had people yell at me when I ride with other people to make her stop that. But I don't really hear it much. If she is happy, I am one happy girl. Any bit can be bad in the wrong hands. Sherrel ****************
