Hi Judy,
I didn't watch all of it but the horse is being ridden on a steady contact
with an Icelandic bit which is even worse than if it were a snaffle.  I
don't understand why any disciplines want to ride their horses behind the
vertical.  Horses ridden like that cannot see what is in front of them.
Some of the dressage riders did start riding their horses that way to avoid
shying, which only causes more tension in the horses body, but then for some
weird reason others started copying it.

The horse looks narrow in the chest and is definitely tightrope walking.

I don't really understand why so few Icelanders post especially with those
horses who have such big bouncy trots.  A few of them do post, but mostly
women.
