Good observation, Wanda!

I think that the horses may tend to do some type of gait on a tight or heavy 
lead line, that they may not do on a loose lead line.

I used to teach infant swimming about twenty years ago, and it was hard for 
some of the moms to let the babies go when they were under water, but it was 
more advantageous to do so.  If the moms hung on, the baby had to deal with 
her affect on his body as well as trying to maintain himself.  If he was 
free to do what was natural, the baby would do really well.
