Hi Wanda,
>Does anyone have a picture of a horse sit up? This is described in
>Lee's book on Page 77. I tried it on everyone and I must be doing it
>wrong, and I didn't see any movement along their topline. Am I
<supposed to see a massive lift or is this subtle?

>Is this an exercise to raise the horse's back?

We raise the back and do belly lifts. If this is what she calls horse sit
ups then instead of asking right on the midline of the belly do it on either
side of the midline and curl your fingers as if you were digging your nails
into a bar of soap with an upward press / release. You might have to have
Kevin see if the back is going up because you will have to bend your knees
to get under the belly and won't necessarily see it go up.

I do it in different places along the mid - starting just behind the elbow
and working back.

If a horse is stuck in the pelvis then the tail work and pelvic tilts will
also help free the back so it can go up.
