My Jaspar bows, and I have been afraid to try that because when he
bows he is apparently in a precarious way balance-wise. I found this
out when I was bending low with the lead rope trying to get him to bow
deeper and deeper until he sorta fell over and almost caught my head!
Scared the heck outa me! I think their knees are so delicate and they
weigh so much, when they get down like that it is only a fine line
before they sorta fold and go down totally. I think if I were to try
and mount him like that I would just put my weight across the saddle
and see what happened. One time a sand pile collapsed on us and he
could not get up until I rolled off him... and he is very big and
strong!
