well, it says "icelandic HORSES and their culture", not "icelandic
PEOPLE and their culture".

so maybe it means, expect the critter to be extra smart, have some 
extra gaits, be unlikely to need grain, and to prefer lots and lots of
turnout to a 20-hour-stalled-a-day boarding barn?
