(I don't THINK there's more than one Thora who's involved with training Icelandics in the USA.) I didn't have him during that time though, so I can't speak to that first hand - I only got him after his problems surfaced. Tivar is essentially three-gaited, and should never be expected to tolt. If I were going to show one of my Icelandics, I'd ask LOTS of questions about ANY judge who might be officiating - IF I expected any sort of valid feedback from the judge. If the judge doesn't share my values, then, personally, I certainly wouldn't bother. I don't show in "traditional" Icelandic classes though, and I never will, and IF I ever show, I won't change my training approaches in order to win... Karen Thomas, NC
