The website was originally set up by people who did have English as a first
language but their parents didn't and it was probably the latter that wrote
it.  The kids job was website design so I think that is how it happened and
then Wanda thankfully took it over with the help of Cara.

It is quite amusing, in a way, because one of the things that most people
find that start Icelandics, is that they are generally very easy to start as
long as you have some common sense and are reasonable humans.  We tell
people to work with them on the ground, get them going under saddle -with
stop, go, turn and see what they might offer as you go along in terms of
gait.  

I actually think that it is just a few of the Icelandic breeders in Canada
that have that kind of attitude about training, or the horses in general.
