I am in the process of uploading a video of Dagur walking. He's walking nice and relaxed, he and Cara seem to have a good rhythm. She's practising some of her centered riding. But Dagur is obviously on the forehand....though he does seem to have some nice reach. I can see that the type of collection we see in any sort of dressage would take a long time to develop. We've discovered that since I have done so much ground work with Dagur, he's too focused on me, and not transferring his attention to Cara as well as we'd like. I guess next time it's the old Mama's turn to ride and see if we can't focus his attention to his rider. Having an extra 40 lbs on his back ought to get his attention :).. I'll forwrad the video as soon as it loads to You Tube. Oh...here it is. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1HYHAIR3UMM Wanda
