Posted with writer's permission. Linda is comparing Clementine her
donkey to an IcePony. <;]

I think the little icelandic she is referring too, is a great breed
ambassador. Linda was impressed most with what she saw outside of the
ring/arena. That is what we need to show non icelandic horse people.
not little ponies running around with sparklers on their legs.

"I mentioned some of the gorgeous breed example-horses at Equine
Affair, but I forgot to mention a couple of my favorites. :-)

There was a really cute little Iceland gelding who was so calm and
sweet, and took everything in stride. Seemed like Clementine, when I
take her anywhere, but a little less pushy about meeting people. Some
of the other horses were snorting and prancing, or spooking and
staring hard at everything, while being led to and from their various
clinics, but this little dude was just hanging out. I saw his handler
puttering around bareback on him a few times, and another time sitting
at a picnic table having a snack while he just stood there letting
people pet him, and hoping she would share the muffins she had. :-)
If you're looking for a fuzzy, short, sweet-natured, calm, personable
horse, give Icelandic horses a look. Linda [EMAIL PROTECTED] "

Does anyone know who this ice pony was? Kudos to him and his rider.
