I have no experience with SE in Icelandics, but I did own a 14.1 hand grade pony of unknown origins who suffered with SE.
I would be reluctant to consider buying another horse with SE. It was horrible for him, some summers worse than others. We tried everything that anyone suggested, including grinding flax seed for him, but it was pretty much a recurring discomfort for him. Nancy
