I do have Lee Ziegler's book. Sadly, did not get to meet her in person.
Since I really have only ridden two Standardbreds, I am not an expert on the
race pace. but Twist's is a true two-feet-landing on the same side at the same
time. It's is not a good gait for riding. In fact, when we first knew him,
I kept thinking his name was Lurch.
He willl occassionally fall into more of a stepping or broken pace, which is
a much nicer gait.
