I know. I've been to the Big Island and just loved it. Oddly, I thought I'd like the lushness of Kauai best, but the starkness of the Big Island just blew me away. It was like you'd go around a bend in the road and transfer from a rain forest to the desert. Where do you live? I think we made it all the way around the Island, but that was about 20 years ago.
