Thanks for this info!

Here's a little more:

>>>i was reading in EQUUS... i think it was.... a while back and they stated
that over 70% of show horses trailering alot have ulcers of one kind or
another..... don't know how long you've had the horse... but with SSH,
RACKING HORSES, TWH..... the methods used to "win" are not easliy put
aside and the temperments created take much time and TLC.... to get them
to relax and trust and not worry about when the next "training or riding
session" is coming......

buddies, relaxed work, grooming, bonding on a consistent basis all help, as
well as acupuncture, the tellington-jones T TOUCH, etc...... it's not always
the food..... pain may exist somewhere... <<<<

>>There is a drug that is used for humans that actually patch and heal up
the ulcers and will be a lot cheaper. You will need to have your vet call
it into a pharmacy. ( for human drugs) I have used this on my gelding and
it works absolutely!!!! SUCRALFATE It will heal it up just fine and put
a coating in the stomach lining. This a drug that is used by many
Doctors. and it is cheaper then the horse ulcer meds. 1 1/2 tabs daily
1500 MG <<<
