my husband's favorite horse ever was a little icelandic/welsh cross named molly. cute, strong, and would jump the moon for him. a great pony on her own merits, not her pedigree.
that said, i'm rather surprised that a vanner/icey cross doesn't have feathers? do they develop later than four years old or something? --vicka
