At what point is it too late to clip a horse in the spring, for fear of clipping the emerging spring coat? I clipped Eitill yesterday - I hope it's not too late. Last year he didn't finish shedding until well into June, maybe into July. I know I've heard of horses clipped too late having a "stubble feel" all summer...
