I should have explained this further....$4500 will get you a
well-trained 'mut' QH...a good trail horse.

If you start getting into bloodlines or performance horses....the sky
is the absolute limit.

So $4500 is a good deal around here, but if you want to take that
horse further, you're still looking at more training and putting the
time into it or hiring a trainer.

Yes, Icelandic prices are high, but in most cases it's not unreasonable.

For me $4500 is too much for a QH...but then I'm not into pile driver
rides or too tall horses.
