yes, i believe that is thor, herd sire of Elenor's Atheletes feet
icelandic horse farm.  I once saw him at equifest doing a flyingpace
on ice and his legs sorta spread out until he looked like a spider out
there spinning round and round, all four legs out splayed just splayed
as could be, like a water bug.  I think after that no one could ever
say Elenor and John had horses with weak tendons!  I in fact credit
annaleise for much of the modern breeding resulting in the shorter
icelandic horse.  These old foundation tall icelandics like Elenor and
John breed, well, they are a dying breed!  I guess you can tell I am a
fan of Atheletes feet icelandics but what can I say, the quality of
dna speaks for itself.  I believe if memory serves me, this is the
trip when Annaleise traveled out west to collect dna from thor to
start her own shorter herd.
