well, then why did she choose an american to quote so extensively?

i'm sure there are all kinds of fools in america raising horses in all
kinds of stupid ways without reference to iceland.  and i'm sure iceland
has its set of equal fools.  but it's got good horsepeople too, and i
object ot the generalization, particularly coming from someone who is
not even part of the presumed set.
