I went to visit a farm last fri and there was a newborn foal. It behaved extremely erratically, and the owner said he thought it may be blind. He said it seemed ok a week before. I will upload a video to youtube of it. Its just a gorgeous little black and white pinto twhbea filly. It would "lose" its mom and run in a circle calling frantically and seem to look up and away, head pitched way to one side. I asked what he intended to do if it was blind and he said "give it away immediately, as soon as its weaned". I thought gosh, would be nice to find someone interested. The mom is in perfect health and the sire is awesome. email me privately if interested or know of anyone who is. I think if she is in fact blind he will be putting her down soon.
