putting in a fridge would be hard because the apple treats come in a large bag. But I guess you could put into smaller bags. I think if winnies are affordable to you then get those. They are good and horses love them. I have two horses who get "hot" on certain feeds/supplements and I am real cautious about what I give them to eat, even in minor treat portions.
