Hi Janice:
Yes, Sky is a SD bay so the foal's possibilities are
numerous. Yes, SD black is a possibility because Sky
is base black with agouti. The foal has a great
chance of being dun too because Sky also has dun
characteristics. Both his colts born last year had
dun characteristics but so did the dams. Yes, Arora's
dam was SD so she could possibly be a carrier. I have
no idea what the name may be. I always wait to see
them first and it takes me a while to decide on a
name. I try to make it fit. I know the foal will be
a dandy no matter what color it is. Both the parents
are built well, naturally gaited and fantastic
temperments. I am getting so excited I am already
having trouble sleeping and she is not close enough to
stay up with yet. This never gets old for me. I will
send pics shortly after I make sure both are fine,
initial imprinting is done if I am not dead on my feet
at that point. It is only then that I will relax and
smile.
