some registries allow a horse that has a parent registered in another
registry to be registered "appendix". Like Mccurdys accept horses
that are half mccurdy and half walking/racking horse as appendix, but
are prejudiced against spots. I was told I could apply and what they
do is just ignore your application for years til you give up. They
want to see a pic or personally look at every applicant for
registration. Like some AQHA appendix horses have thoroughbred
(especially for the ones that race) and arabian etc. But AQHA doesnt
allow spots either, officially. with the mccurdys its unofficial.
SOme registries, like SSHBEA, do not have an appendix.
