I can see a relation to 'The Secret'. I have no doubt that we can do amazing things with our horses with this kind of mindset, and have the horses be happy about it. It was funny, in my mind I kept thinking of a comparison to the "Tao of Pooh", kind of a fun little book that talks about "going with the flow", "recognizing the nature of a being and working with that" (my paraphrases), and pointing out that the more force you exert on something, the more force it gives you back, like trying to push a ball under water. I made a connection of how pushing and pulling can make a horse brace, and how we have to appreciate the horse's true nature and work with that.
