My local vet and her partner, Erik, went to Montana this past weekend to participate in a local horse drive. Erik is a professional photographer and took some stunning photographs. Here is a link to one and it appears that the rider is using a Parelli hackamore. It looks like the horse also a bit and bridle on but the rider is using his hackamore reins, and the bridle reins are tied to the saddle. Lots of pics on his site:
