John Parke sponsors yearly awards in honor of Remington, given to horses ridden by youth riders, who display courage and loyalty. You can read about it on the website: http://www.icelandics.org/youth/spaejariaward07.html The Pleasure Rider program also gives out some very nice awards to adult and youth pleasure riders. I know Raven has won in the past. More info: http://www.icelandics.org/prp.html Stephanie Sher sponsors a yearly award given to Icelandic service horses, who give of themselves, above and beyond what we normally expect of our horses, for example, therapy horses who work with the disabled. I don't know of any awards given for traditional showing. Do you know of any? Mary
