No, they are registered Saddlebreds. I had never seen such stocky, QH-ish Saddlebreds - and they are double registered as American Warmbloods. I'm used to seeing the leggy, swan-necked show Saddlebreds. The owner said the buckskin had never shown any signs of gaitedness, so she's 3-gaited, but the younger mare, the chestnut, seems to have a flat walk, so maybe something else.
