I hope everyone on the list understands this, but I probably should restate
it to avoid misunderstanding.  To be sure everyone understands, this is NOT
a trick riding clinic, with bridleless riding as the end-goal.  The point I
heard over and over was the importance of building the basics - ALL the
basics - such that the rider doesn't need the reins or a bit.  Whether the
rider actually chooses to ride bridleless eventually is really irrelevant -
and frankly, I doubt many of us will ever be able to do it to the level of
these people.  In fact, this clinic was aimed at "real world riders" and all
the riders rode with normal tack yesterday, including bits and bridles.
But, that doesn't impact the importance of what they are teaching one whit.
