-----------------Long story, nutshell version is that he had a hard
lump on one side, just behind his wither about 6 months ago. We
highly suspected ill-saddle fit and gave him a few months off, lots
of massage work, lots of chiro, and vet visits. About 2-3 months
ago, he was given the green light by all to start working him under
saddle. We decided to go with a treeless saddle on him to avoid
putting pressure in that particular place. I've ridden him a few
times in the past month and a halfish and have had no issues
whatsoever. Last Tuesday, he clearly let us know that he had
something bad going on with a rider under saddle.

the other? (lateral or medial)

-----------------Not that we can see. His hooves look very even and
level. No undue wear in any one place.
