First I have to say - it was a fun, fun day - there sounds like fun Laree... On my end there was a Hunter Pace with the Red Mountains Hounds club and I went to that over by the Hill Forestry (North Carolina). I did the slower course and...I came in LAST! LOL...but they gave me and my partner (riding a halflinger) I was on a MFT) the "Turtle Award"). It was full of obstacles.. jumps, water crossings and lots of mud and climbs but it was one of the most beautiful rides I've been on in a long time. Forest, fields, views, obstacles...it was amazing. I just did it for fun but one day when I have a horse in shape I would love to do the faster course and go for a ribbon. I am hooked on the hunter paces.
