It's nothing new for us to see foxes - red foxes. There is a family that lives in the woods behind our house. In fact - what's odd is that I haven't seen them just lately. Usually we see them with some young ones playing in the pasture in the spring, and I haven't this spring. I've seen them in the barn too in the past, but mostly they keep their distance. I love seeing them, and I hope they're ok. Red foxes used to be unheard of in this part of NC, but not now. When I was a kid, we only had gray ones.
