I think the opposite is true too!  And I distinctly remember my really
wonderful equine dentist (I lost her cause she decided to go to vet
school) having to do something to my horses when they were three.  Was
it because she knew I would be starting them to ride and they would be
on a bit?  If so, then Nasi doesn't need it yet.  My vet does my
horses teeth now and he isnt the greatest but better than a lot of
alternatives around.  If I can wait til a better dentist comes this
way I will.  But I remember my horses needing work around 3 and now
nasi maybe needs something but if it aint broke I aint gonna fix it
you know...
