Does anyone else every wonder what gaits a horse like this might do - easily and freely - if he were encouraged to find his own way? I keep thinking about the basics of good riding as I've been taught so many years (not that my uncooperative body can do all I've been taught) - and the basics I heard Lynn Palm and Jane Savoie reiterate recently. What would this horse do if not being forced into a "frame" from the front, via the bit? Would he foxtrot? Is he a natural racker, or prone to do a running walk? Or, would he do a nice two-beat trot?
