Karen, How big is he?
We bought two Icelandics: one for Stephanie and one for me. Hers is about 13.2 and quite sturdy. Mine is probably 13h at age three and a good deal more refined. I've thought about trading, but I really think we have the right rider/horse combinations in terms of temperment. I'm on the No/No diet (if you think you might want to eat it, figure it's a no/no) trying to get my weight down. I weighed 160 lbs this morning. That just seems like a lot for this little mare to carry. Nancy "The greatest enemy of the truth very often is not the lie- deliberate, contrived and dishonest -- but the myth -- persistent, persuasive and unrealistic." "All truth passes through three stages. First, it is ridiculed. Second, it is violently opposed. Third, it is accepted as being self-evident." ~ Arthur Schopenhauer [] The video every Icelandic Horse owner should have: http://IceHorses.net/video.html [] Lee Ziegler http://leeziegler.com [] Liz Graves http://lizgraves.com [] Lee's Book Easy Gaited Horses http://tinyurl.com/7vyjo [] IceHorses Map http://www.frappr.com/IceHorses [] IceHorses ToolBar http://iceryder.ourtoolbar.com/ Yahoo!
