Ok, this is probably a totally bizarre request, but I'm looking for a buddy
to share Butterscotch's dry lot with him. The only thing that makes sense
to me is another IR pony, given that he/she'll be eating ODTB cubes as
his/her diet anyway, and I thought that maybe someone has a nice IR pony
that they feel overwhelmed trying to manage. I'm in Connecticut, so needs
to be located in the southern New England area (close enough that I can
drive within a couple of hours to meet the pony). I have young kids (6 and
4) so it needs to be a quiet, gentle, friendly pony with fantastic ground
manners. Nothing under about 9 1/2 hands (Butterscotch bullies equines
smaller than himself), and I would prefer not too much over 14 hands (the
smaller the better) to keep my food bills to a reasonable level. I'm sorry
I can't offer to pay for said pony, but due to the cost of care of an IR
equine, I can't justify it. But I'm willing to give a very good home (both
my farrier and my vet would be happy to reccommend me) to a deserving pony
that might be looking for a home with someone willing and able to look after
his/her dietary and medical needs.

Please email me privately at [EMAIL PROTECTED] so as not to clog up the
list with replies (if there even are any replies! -- like I said, I realize
this is a pretty bizarre request....).
