Sorry, Robyn, haven't been on line for a day or two - I had a little problem getting the chin strap adjusted at first but once I got it where I liked it - I have forgotten about it - I did remove the leather cover on the chin strap, though, for some reason that bothered me. I'm very happy with hte helmet
