He kept placing himself in my way until I realized he thought I was intending to harness him for a little jaunt out of the yard. So I placed a saddle pad on his back just to see how he would react and as usual he stood at attention like he was meeting the queen. Sadly, there isn't much to save from the harness, except a beautiful pair of rains and a nice breast band (which I'll have lined with sheepskin)....so it was a good day. Peppy meanwhile, kept trying to sip the soapy water until Kevin finally pointed him in the direction of the water pail we set in the yard for him. He just roams around at will, but usually manages to stay near his humans if they happen to be out in the yard. I often feel a nibble on the back of my neck or on my shoulder as I'm working away.
