To me (and this is just my opinion)...he? she? looks a bit base
narrow, but that doesn't nesessarily mean the horse is cow hocked.
For some reason whe have an ideal horse's hind quarters in our minds
as being perfectly straight.  Post legs...or a leg in each corner.
You often see QH in this stance...wide.  We're taught that the 'plumb
line' is ideal.

Cow hocks happen when there is crookedness...the upper leg above the
hock (stifle) does not match the angle of the cannon bone (or sfifle
or hoof) below the hock.  I'm not sure I see that in this horse, other
than perhaps the left hoof does not quite match the angle of the rest
of the leg...???

A single plane should bisect the thigh, stifle, hock, hind cannon,
pastern and hoof.

What do you see?  I would like to see more pics of this horse when
s/he is standing.
